Ingredients

1 large pizza base
(ready-made)

175ml/6fl oz tomato sauce
-
25g/1oz chorizo
sausage (sliced thinly)

25g/1oz button mushrooms
(wiped with damp kitchen paper and sliced thinly)
-
50g/2oz artichoke hearts (sliced thinly)
-
25g/1oz
mozzarella (sliced thinly)
-
3 anchovies
(halved lengthways)
-
2 teaspoons
capers, rinsed and drained
-
4 pitted black olives
(sliced)
-
4 fresh basil
leaves (shredded)
-
Olive oil for
drizzling
-
Salt and pepper
Serves 4
Method:
-
Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas mark 6.

Place
the pizza base on a large, greased baking tray.
Spread the tomato sauce over the base, almost to the
edge.
-
Put the sliced chorizo on one quarter of the
pizza, the sliced mushrooms on another, the
artichoke hearts on a third, and the mozzarella and
anchovies on the fourth.

Dot all over with the
capers, olives and basil leaves. Drizzle with a
little olive oil and season. Do not put any salt on
the anchovy section.

Bake in the oven for 18 to 20
minutes, or follow the instructions for the pizza
base, until the crust is golden and crisp. Serve
immediately.
