Healthy Vegetable Recipes - Asparagus Pecandine Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons butter

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar

  • 1 pound asparagus, steamed just until tender-crisp

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in the pecans and sauté, stirring frequently, for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the pecans are golden and crisp through. Stir in the tarragon vinegar.

  2. Place the asparagus on serving plates, and spoon the sauce over it. Serve immediately.
