Recipes - Brown Rice and Sunflower Bites
Ingredients

75 g/3 oz/3/4 cup cooked brown rice

50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
sunflower seeds
-
25 g/1/4 cup sesame seeds
-
40 g/1/4 cup seedless (pitless)
raisins
-
40 g/1/4 cup glace (candied)
cherries, quartered

25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp dark brown sugar

15 ml/1 tbsp clear
honey

75 g/3 oz/1/3 cup butter

ml/1 tsp lemon juice
Method:

Mix
together the
rice, seeds and fruit. Melt the sugar, honey, butter
and lemon juice in a saucepan.

Stir into the rice
mixture and mix well. Divide the mixture between 1215 paper cases on a baking sheet.

Bake at
200°C/400°F/gas mark 6 for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire
rack and store in an airtight tin.
