Cheese, Egg, and Cream Based Recipes - Bucatini with Italian Melted Cheese

Ingredients                                                                            

  • 350 g/12 oz bucatini

  • 60 ml/6 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onian, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 75 g/3 oz Mozzarella cheese, cubed

  • 50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Method:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the packet directions. Drain and return to the pan.

  2. Meanwhile. heat the oil and fry (sauté) the onion and garlic gently for 5 minutes until very soft and lightly golden.

  3. Add to the bucatini with the cheeses and toss well until the Mozzarella begins to melt.

  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve straight away.
