Recipes - Buttered Tagliatelle with Toasted Sesame Seeds
Ingredients

350 g/12 oz tagliatelle
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup
sesame seeds
-
100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup unsalted
(sweet) butter
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup grated Pecorino cheese
Method:
-
Cook
the
tagliatelle according to the packet directions.
Drain and return to the pan.

Meanwhile, dry-fry the
sesame seeds until golden. Add to the pasta with the
butter cut into small pieces.

Toss over a gentle
heat until the butter melts. Season with a little
salt and lots of pepper.

Toss again and sprinkle
with the cheese before serving.
