Cheese, Egg, and Cream Based

Ingredients

g/8 oz/2 cups short-cut
macaroni

g/12 oz Cheddar cheese, grated

10 ml/2 tsp made mustard

ml/4 tbsp light ale

A
little milk
-
15 g/1 tbsp butter

g/2 oz/1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

A few snipped chives
Method:

Cook
the macaroni according to the packet directions.
Drain.

Meanwhile, put the cheese, mustard and beer
in a saucepan and heat through, stirring until the
cheese has melted and the mixture is well blended.

Add a little milk if the mixture seems
too
sticky. Add the macaroni and mix well.

Melt the butter and fry (sauté) the breadcrumbs
until golden.
-
Spoon the pasta on to warm plates and
top with the breadcrumbs and a few snipped chives.
