Spaghetti Carbonara
Ingredients

350 g/12 oz spaghetti
-
100 g/4 oz un-smoked
streaky bacon, finely diced
-
75 g/3 oz/1/3 cup
butter
-
5 eggs
-
30 ml/2 tbsp chopped
parsley
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
-
50 g/2 oz/1/2 cup grated
Parmesan cheese
Method:
-
Cook the spaghetti according to the packet
directions. Drain and return to the saucepan.

Meanwhile, fry (sauté) the bacon in the butter until
browned. Beat the eggs with the parsley, a little
salt, lots of pepper and the cheese.

Add the hot
bacon and its fat to the spaghetti and toss. Add the
egg mixture and stir and toss until the mixture is
creamy and piping hot.

Do not allow to scramble
completely. Serve immediately.
