Cheese, Egg, and Cream Based
Recipes - Tagliatelle alla Panna
Ingredients
350 g/12 oz green tagliatelle (verdi)
40 g/3 tbsp butter
75 ml/5 tbsp double
(heavy) cream
100 g/4 oz cooked ham, cut into thin strips
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
Freshly grated
nutmeg
Grated Parmesan cheese
Method:
Cook the tagliatelle according to the packet directions, drain and return
to the pan.
Add the butter, cream, ham, a sprinkling
of salt, a
good
grinding of pepper
and lots of
nutmeg and toss over a gentle heat until piping hot
and well mixed.
Serve garnished with lots of grated
Parmesan cheese.
