Cheese, Egg, and Cream Based Recipes - Tagliatelle alla Panna

Ingredients                                                                            

  • 350 g/12 oz green tagliatelle (verdi)

  • 40 g/3 tbsp butter

  • 75 ml/5 tbsp double (heavy) cream

  • 100 g/4 oz cooked ham, cut into thin strips

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Freshly grated nutmeg

  • Grated Parmesan cheese


Method:

  1. Cook the tagliatelle according to the packet directions, drain and return to the pan.

  2. Add the butter, cream, ham, a sprinkling of salt, a good grinding of pepper and lots of nutmeg and toss over a gentle heat until piping hot and well mixed.

  3. Serve garnished with lots of grated Parmesan cheese.
