Recipes - Chocolate Mousse Layer
Ingredients

175 g/6 oz/1 1/2 cups plain (semisweet) chocolate, broken into
pieces
-
3 size
1 eggs, separated
-
15 ml/1 tbsp rum
or brandy
-
430 g/1 large can chocolate
rice pudding
-
Whipped cream
-
A little grated chocolate
Method:
-
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water or in the microwave.
Stir in the egg yolks and brandy or rum.

Whisk the
egg whites until stiff and fold into the chocolate
with a metal spoon.

Layer the rice and chocolate
mousse in sundae glasses. Chill until set.
-
Decorate
with whipped cream and a little grated chocolate.
