Dessert Recipes - Crunchy Orange Sundae

Ingredients

  • 4 oranges, peeled and segmented

  • 60 ml/4 tbsp sweet sherry

  • 150 ml/2/3 cup double (heavy) cream

  • 430 g/1 large can creamed macaroni pudding

  • A few drops of vanilla essence (extract)

  • 4 meringues, crushed

  • Grated chocolate


Method:

  1. Place the oranges in 4 sundae dishes. Spoon the sherry over. Whip the cream until softly peaking.

  2. Fold in the macaroni and flavor to taste with vanilla. Stir in the meringue and spoon on to the oranges.

  3. Top with grated chocolate and chill until ready to serve.
