Dessert Recipes - Macaroni Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 425 g/15 oz/1 large can macaroni pudding

  • 375 g/13 1/2 oz/1 large can apple and raspberry pie filling

  • 5 plain scones, split and buttered

  • 25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp light brown sugar


Method:

  1. Empty the can of macaroni pudding into a saucepan. Add the fruit pie filling and heat gently, folding the two together until hot.

  2. Spoon into a 1.2 liter/2 pt/5 cup flameproof serving dish. (Or heat in the dish in the microwave.)

  3. Arrange the scones, buttered sides up, around the edge of the dish.

  4. Sprinkle the sugar over the scones and grill (broil) for about 4 minutes until the top is golden. Serve straight away.
