Dessert Recipes - Marshmallow Moment

Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz/2 cups farfalle

  • 100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup butter

  • 30 ml/2 tbsp light brown sugar

  • 175 g/6 oz/1 1/2 cups marshmallows

  • 1 small can evaporated milk

  • 5 ml/1 tsp rose water

  • Crystallized (candied) rose petals


Method:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the packet directions. Drain, rinse with boiling water and drain again.

  2. Melt the butter in the same pan. Stir in the sugar, marshmallows and evaporated milk and cook gently, stirring until melted.

  3. Stir in the rose water. Add the noodles, toss and pile on to serving plates.

  4. Scatter a few crystallized rose petals over just before serving.
