Recipes - Peach Rice Ring
Ingredients

15 g/1 tbsp powdered gelatine

60 ml/4 tbsp water

2 x
430 g/2 x 15 oz/2 large cans
creamed rice pudding
-
5
ml/1 tsp vanilla essence (extract)
-
425 g/15 oz/1 large
can peach slices,
drained

150
ml/2/3 cup whipped cream
-
Glace (candied) cherries
-
Angelica leaves
Method:
-
Dissolve the gelatine
in the water in a bowl over a pan of hot water or in
the microwave (do not allow to boil).

Stir into the
rice with the vanilla essence. Turn into a wetted
ring mould (mold) and chill until set.
-
Turn out on to a serving plate.
Fill the centre with the peach halves, arranged attractively.
-
Decorate with whipped
cream, glace cherries and angelica leaves.
