Dessert Recipes - Raspberry and Maple Syrup Surprise

Ingredients

  • 175 g/6 oz/1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 50 g/2 oz pecan nuts, chopped

  • 350 g/12 oz/3 cups raspberries

  • 430 g/1 large can creamed rice pudding


Method:

  1. Put 30 ml/2 tbsp of the syrup in a bowl Divide the remainder between 6 sundae glasses.

  2. Sprinkle on the pecan nuts. Add 275 g/2 1/2 cups of the raspberries to the bowl and crush with the syrup.

  3. Fold in the rice pudding and divide between the sundae glasses.

  4. Decorate with the remaining raspberries and chill until ready to serve.
