Dessert Recipes - Strawberry Rice Quickie

Ingredients

  • 415 g/1 large can strawberry pie filling

  • 430 g/1 large can creamed rice pudding

  • 100 g/4 oz/1 small can cream

  • A few angelica leaves

  • A few glace (candied) cherries


Method:

  1. Spoon half the pie filling into 4 sundae glasses. Top with half the rice.

  2. Repeat the layers. Drain off the whey from the can of cream, stir well, then pipe or swirl on top.

  3. Decorate with angelica leaves and halved cherries. Chill until ready to serve.
