Fishy Pasta Grill
Ingredients

225g/2 cups pasta shapes

215g/1 can pilchards in tomato sauce, mashed

30ml/2 tbsp olive oil

30ml/2 tbsp snipped chives
-
A
squeeze of lemon juice
-
60ml/4 tbsp passata (sieved tomatoes)

salt and freshly ground black pepper

75g/3 oz Cheddar cheese, grated

tomatoes, sliced
Method:

Cook the pasta according to the
packet directions, drain and return to the saucepan.

Add the remaining ingredients
except the cheese and sliced tomatoes.

Toss over a gentle heat until
well combined and hot through. Season to taste.

Add a little more passata to
moisten if necessary. Turn into a flameproof dish.
Cover with the cheese and garnish with the tomato
slices.

Grill until the cheese melts
and bubbles. Serve straight away.
