Ingredients

onion, finely chopped

30 ml/2 tbsp olive
oil

g/14 oz/1 large can chopped tomatoes

45 ml/3 tbsp capers,
chopped
-
175 g/6
oz/1 cup
stoned
(pitted) black
olives, roughly chopped
-
2 x 50 g/2 x 2
oz/2 small cans anchovies, drained
and chopped
-
185 g/6 1/2 oz/1 small
can tuna,
drained
-
2.5 ml/1/2 tsp cayenne
-
Freshly ground black
pepper
-
450 g/1lb spaghettini
-
Chopped parsley
Method:
-
Fry (sauté) the onion in the oil for 2 minutes
until softened but not browned.
-
Add all the
remaining ingredients except the pasta and parsley.
Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes until pulpy.
-
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the
packet directions. Drain, transfer to serving
plates and spoon the sauce over.

Sprinkle with the
parsley before serving.
