Smoked Salmon and Broccoli Centrepiece
Ingredients
-
225 g/8 oz broccoli,
cut into tiny florets
-
100 g/4 oz/1 cup
smoked salmon, cut into small pieces
-
300 ml/1 1/4
cups crème fraiche
-
15 ml/1 tbsp chopped dill (dill weed)
-
2 hard-boiled (hard-cooked) eggs, roughly chopped
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
-
225 g/8 oz red tagliatelle (al pomodoro)
-
A little
butter
-
Dill sprigs
Method:
-
Steam the broccoli or boil in a little salted water until just tender.
Drain and return to the pan.

Add the remaining
ingredients except the pasta, butter and dill sprigs
and heat through gently, stirring lightly until piping hot.

Meanwhile,
cook
the pasta according to the packet
directions. Drain and return to the pan.

Toss in a
little butter and pile on to warm plates. Spoon the
sauce over and garnish with small sprigs of dill.
