Meats Recipes - Canny Pasta Supper

Ingredients

  • 225 g/8 oz/2 cups rotelli

  • 425 g/15 oz/1 large can minced steak with onions

  • 5 ml/1 tsp dried mixed herbs

  • 50 g/2 oz Cheddar cheese, grated

  • 3 tomatoes, sliced


Method:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the packet directions, drain.

  2. Return to the saucepan and stir in the can of mince and the herbs. Heat through, stirring until piping hot.

  3. Turn into a flameproof dish. Top with the cheese and place the tomato slices round the edge.

  4. Place under a hot grill (broiler) for about 4 minutes until golden and bubbling.
