Recipes - Chipolata Cantata
Ingredients

225 g/8 oz/2 cups ruote
-
450 g/1lb chipolata
sausages
-
25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp butter
-
2 onions, sliced
-
1 green (bell) pepper,
sliced
-
100 g/4 oz/2 cups button mushrooms, sliced
-
150 ml/2/3 cup
soured (dairy sour) cream
-
Salt and freshly
ground black pepper
Method:
-
Cook
the pasta
according to the packet directions and drain.

Grill (broil) or dry-fry the sausages until golden
brown all over and cooked through.

Meanwhile, melt
the butter in a saucepan. Add the onion and fry (sauté)
for 3 minutes until turning golden.

Add the pepper
and mushrooms and fry until golden and tender.
-
Stir
in the cooked pasta, the soured cream and a little
salt and pepper. Heat through gently.
-
Cut the
sausages into bite-sized pieces and fold through the
mixture just before serving.
