Ingredients

100 g/4 oz/1 cup
short-cut macaroni
-
4 streaky bacon
rashers (slices), diced

100 g/4 oz red
Leicester cheese, grated
-
5 ml/1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce
-
Salt and freshly ground black
pepper
-
25 g/1 oz/2 tbsp butter, melted
-
15 ml/1 tbsp snipped
chives
Method:

Cook
the macaroni according to the packet directions.
Drain and return to the
saucepan.

Meanwhile dry-fry (sauté) the bacon until
crisp and drain on kitchen paper.
-
Add the cheese,
Worcestershire sauce, a little salt and plenty of
pepper to the macaroni with the butter.
Toss well.
-
Pile
on to warm serving plates and sprinkle with the
bacon and chives before serving.
