Recipes - Glorious Creamy Green Pasta
Ingredients

350 g/12 oz green tagliarini (verdi)
-
225 g/8 oz/2 cups
frozen peas
-
60 ml/4 tbsp olive oil
-
1 bunch of watercress,
chopped
-
30 ml/2 tbsp chopped basil
-
120 ml/4 fl oz/1/2 cup creme fraiche
-
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
-
Grated nutmeg
Method:

Cook the pasta according to the packet directions. Drain and return to
the pan.

Meanwhile, gently stew the peas in the
olive oil in a covered saucepan for 4 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Don't have the heat too high
or you will fry (sauté) rather than stew them.

Add
the remaining ingredients with seasoning to taste,
stir well and simmer for a further 2-3 minutes.

Add
to the tagliarini, toss well and serve hot.
