Pinata Burgers
Ingredients

1/2
ripe
avocado, diced or 1/2 cup chopped zucchini

1 medium-sized
tomato, chopped

3-4 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce

1 Tbs. salad oil
-
1 tsp. lemon juice or
vinegar
-
1 tsp. Parsley Flakes
-
1 Y4 tsps. French's
Onion Salt

2 lbs. ground beef
-
6 small loaves pita
(pocket) bread
Makes 6 servings
Method:
-
Combine avocado, tomato, 1 Tbs. of the Worcestershire sauce, oil,
lemon juice, parsley flakes, and 1/4 tsp. of onion salt.

Mix
remaining 2 or 3 Tbs. Worcestershire and 1 tsp. of onion salt with
the ground beef; form into 12 thin patties.

* Place a spoonful of
drained avocado mixture in center of 6 patties; top with remaining
6 patties and press edges together with a fork to seal.

Grill over
hot coals for about 10 minutes, turning once. Brush with liquid
drained from avocado mixture while grilling.

Slit outer edge of pita
bread halfway around and insert burger.
* Hint: To easily form thin
patties of uniform size, place a large square piece
of plastic wrap over the inside of a plastic 1-lb.
coffee can lid. Press enough ground beef into the
lid to completely fill it, packing firmly. Carefully
lift out the plastic wrap and place formed patty on
a platter. Repeat process for each patty.
