Tomato Juice

Serves 4
Method:

Peel the tomatoes,
remove the seeds and cut into small pieces.

Put the
chopped tomatoes in a liquidizer, add 2 tablespoons
of water and puree at the highest speed until the
mixture has turned into juice.

Season the tomato
juice to taste with herbs, honey, cardamom, salt and
pepper.

Pour into a jug, cover with
Clingfilm and
cool in the refrigerator. Use within 24 hours.
Note:
Every sip of fresh home-made tomato juice is pure
pleasure! If a liquidizer is not available, the
tomatoes can be chopped as finely as possible and
pressed through a fine sieve with a wooden spoon.
