Seafood and Meat Recipes - Shrimps with Radicchio and Tomatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 medium tomatoes

  • 2 small chicory bulbs

  • 4 tablespoons garlic-infused oil

  • 24 large prawns (shrimps), peeled and without heads

  • salt

  • white pepper

  • lemon juice

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Quarter the tomatoes, remove the seeds and chop up. Cut the radicchio into fine strips.

  2. Heat the oil in a large pan and briefly fry the shrimps all over.

  3. Add the radicchio and tomatoes, stir and cover. Cook over a low flame for about 8 minutes, stirring now and again.

  4. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice and serve.

Note: A tasty shrimp recipe, cooked with tomatoes and radicchio which make a mouth-watering sauce. It is delicious eaten with unsalted Italian bread.
