Corn on the Cob with Butter

 

Ingredients

 

Serve 4-6

  • 4-6 very fresh ears of corn, silk and husks removed

  • 4-6 tbsp softened butter, chopped

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


Method:

  1. Cook the corn in a large pan of salted, boiling water for 5-10 minutes, or until the corn is tender. The cooking time will depend on how fresh the ears of corn are.

  2. Drain well and place in a heated serving dish.

  3. Melt the butter over the corn and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
