Pecorino Cheese with Fresh Pears

 

Ingredients

 

Serve 4

  • 8 oz/250 g Pecorino cheese (young or aged, as preferred)

  • 2-4 tasty ripe eating pears, preferably organic

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice


Method:

  1. Rinse the pears thoroughly under cold running water. If using organic pears, leave the peel on - they make the dish so much tastier.

  2. Cut the pears in half or in wedges, depending on their size. Drizzle with the lemon juice to stop them from turning brown.

  3. Slice the cheese and place the pears and cheese on a serving dish.
