Spiced Yogurt
Dip
Ingredients

1 clove garlic, finely
chopped

1/2 tsp ground turmeric
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
1 tbsp ghee (clarified
butter)

1 cup/250ml thick plain
yogurt
-
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
-
1 tsp finely chopped
coriander
-
cayenne pepper, to garnish
-
chopped cilantro/coriander,
to garnish
Method:

Sauté the
garlic, turmeric, and salt in the ghee in a
small saucepan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes,
or until the garlic is lightly cooked.

Add the
yogurt, 1/2 tsp paprika, and cilantro to the pan
and cook for 5 minutes. Let cool.

Sprinkle with
the extra paprika and chopped cilantro to
garnish.

Serve chilled
or at room temperature with tortilla chips,
crackers, pappadams, or toast.
